Hand-spun
Hand spinning is a traditional technique that uses tools such as spindles and charkhas to spin yarn by twisting the fibers with the sense of touch of the fingertips. The strength of the twist is finely adjusted by the movement of the hand, resulting in subtle variations in the thickness and neps of the yarn. The yarn, which is spun over time and effort, gives the fabric an uneven, three-dimensional texture and natural softness when made into fabric, and its uneven knots give it a rich, expressive feel.
