Storing plant fibre products
Plant fibre products such as cotton, hemp, linen and ramie are mainly composed of cellulose, which is prone to mould and yellowing if left moist, while UV rays in direct sunlight can deteriorate the fibres, causing them to lose strength and fade. Before storing, remove dirt and sweat stains thoroughly and dry the garment completely in a shady, well-ventilated place.Use a breathable cotton or non-woven bag for storage and use a dehumidifier in combination to absorb excess moisture and reduce mould and yellowing. The texture can be preserved for a long time by taking the product out to dry in the shade and inspecting it once a season changes.
Please note that because grass-dyed products use natural dyes, they are prone to fading under direct sunlight or strong indoor lighting. When storing, please ensure that the products are kept in a dark place away from light.
